Now in its 32nd year, the Weems & Plath Tent Sale will be back October 3-6 and October 10-14, 2024 to offer deep discounts on discontinued, overstock, and sample items, including navigation tools, fine clocks and barometers, lamps, binoculars, compasses, exquisite gifts, garden accessories, and more.
This annual event at the company’s headquarters in Annapolis, Maryland, draws lots of loyal customers and eager shoppers who are looking to get their hands on some good deals during the Annapolis Power Boat and Sailboat Shows.
As always, Weems & Plath will once again offer free shuttles to and from the Annapolis Boat Shows and the Tent Sale which is located at 214 Eastern Avenue.
In keeping with tradition, Weems & Plath will be donating 10% of all sales on Saturday, October 12 to one of the three charities that make up the Triple Crown of Charity Sailing Trophy (sponsored by Weems & Plath).* This year’s recipient will be Hospice Cup, Inc., a non-profit 501(c)3 organization dedicated to raising awareness and funds for hospice and palliative care in the region.
For more than 40 years, Hospice Cup has continually supported local care programs, including Montgomery & Prince George’s Hospice, Talbot Hospice, Capital Caring Kids, and Luminis Health Gilchrist Lifecare Institute at Anne Arundel Medical Center.
The Hospice Cup Regatta is now America’s largest charity yacht race, with more than 100 boats and nearly 1,000 sailors coming from all across the country.
