SPECTATORS

Watch the Races from our Spectator Boat and/or Attend the Shore Party

2020 marks 39 years of the Hospice Cup Regatta. To date, we have raised over 8 million dollars for hospice care.

With your help, we can continue to help our participating hospices provide quality, end-of-life-care to all who seek it.

Grief counseling has always been in the fabric of Hospice, and instrumental in helping so many families cope with loss. These services are often not covered by insurance and why for 2020 Hospice Cup would like to focus on support of Grief and Bereavement Services, especially due to the COVID-19 crisis.

By purchasing tickets for the Spectator Boat or Shore Party you not only get to be in on the excitement of the race, you help us raise funds for hospice patients and their families.

The Shore Party takes place on the banks of Back Creek, at Bert Jabin Yacht Yard. Under a huge event tent you will find live music, a delicious buffet created by Paul’s Homewood Café, open bar poured by volunteers from Sugar Rim Bar Services, an amazing silent auction with fine art, cool gift baskets, fun trips and more! Join us to celebrate the sailors, sponsors and fundraisers who help our hospices raise funds and awareness. This is an all ages event and goes on Rain or Shine.

There are many ways to get involved! Are you a sailor? Race in the event! Want to make an impact, volunteer for the shore party! Can’t make the event? Donate!
