raised over $325,000!
Welcome to Hospice Cup. Whether you have experienced the
Hospice Cup in the past or this is your first encounter, we invite you to take a closer look at what
the event is all about.
From a small start to big finishes. Hospice Cup began in 1982 as a
gathering of friends, all interested in sailing and raising funds for hospice care.
Soon after, the event developed into an organized annual event
with a mission to raise funds and awareness for hospice care.
In the early
years the board members were the “racers.” They relied on
friends, family and colleagues to donate to the Hospice Cup
fund. As Hospice Cup has grown so have the number of sponsors and the funds raised.
Since the first race
Hospice Cup, Inc. has raised over $7 million, in corporate and
individual donations, allowing the local participating hospices to continue to
provide hospice care for their surrounding communities.
